Planning for the Future, some upcoming events we are currently planning for.
Things we are planning in the community for 2003. The following list was compiled by the members:
* Community Fundraiser Yard Sale June 7th & 8th 2003. *
A program that offered plants and landscaping aid to the elderly and disabled.
Save and share plant program for the needy in conjunction with the other not for profit organizations.
Help to organize a thrift store to provide Stagecoach residents with a local place to donate and buy.
Sponsor horse or hay rides to historical places around Stagecoach.
Sponsor Stagecoach address signs that would be attractive and easy to read. Signs would be in the form of a western stagecoach with address clearly written. Local organizations could be utilized to help make and sell these signs.
Sponsor signs against dumping on roads leading to the foothills, include the N.R.S. number and fine amount.
Sponsor community dedication awards.
Work on Stagecoach obtaining its own zip-code and post office.
Get Stagecoach listed on Highway signs on Highway 50 east.
Establish and sponsor events involving children.
Encourage businesses that have childrens activities
Establish an arena for equestrian such as shows,rodeos and 4H judging.
Survey of needs and desires of Stagecoach residents.
Help create a emergency management plan for the community.
